Michael Jasperson has roots firmly planted in non-profit healthcare, beginning with his work as manager within a regional hospital and health system in Ohio. The experience was his first foray into hospice care as he worked to coordinate relationships between the various entities within the system, including home health and hospice.
Most recently, Michael was regional sales manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, where he led a team charged with establishing and maintaining relationships with hospitals, the Michigan Health & Hospital Association and other health institutions in Michigan.
While at Blue Cross, Michael led a staff of 8 account managers with a territory of approximately 120 group customers. The experience afforded him the opportunity to successfully plan and lead a marketing/sales team and to develop relationships with a significant number of customers including hospitals and other health care entities in Michigan.
His extensive background in nonprofit health care allows him to leverage his skills to assist Arbor Hospice in meeting its business objectives, including driving referrals and revenue into the organization.
